MCM, through our Community Outreach Program (MCMCOP), is helping to take care of our community.
Our Community is where we live, work, go to school and do 'life' together with those around us. MCM strives to build community here in our local area as well as around the world, literally.
We support local food pantries by fundraising, purchasing, and distributing much needed food and household items to them for distribution in much needed communities. Some of these pantries have had a more than 50% increase in food requests since COVID-19 started.
We have also started serving those that risk their lives for us in the emergency & medical service field. MCM missionary and pastor, David Nerud, has started a Chaplaincy with the West Fargo Fire Department to assist them and the community in times of emotional, physical, and spiritual need.
It is our desire to continue to develop and grow our partnerships within the community we live to bring the love of Christ and the Gospel message to as many people as possible and being the hands and feet of Jesus in meeting real physical and spiritual needs.
Will you help us with a partnership?
Know a local organization that is in need of help? Contact us to see if we can help.
MCM realizes that there is a need for spreading the gospel and for humanitarian efforts right here in our local area. We work with local organizations and churches to help spread the gospel and love on our neighbors here in the FM area also. We do this by partnering with churches and other Christian organizations in areas like: assisting in transition for new and returning citizens, food/necessities drives, skill training classes, people groups outreaches and many other venues. We recognize that the need is great outside our front doors too.
MCM, through our Community Outreach Program (MCMCOP), is helping to break the generational chain of poverty in the lives of people living in extreme poverty throughout the world by teaching a trade skill and providing the means to work that skill.
Imagine if there were no hope for you, and your children, to leave a life of poverty behind. Then imagine that your grandchildren would be enslaved to that poverty-stricken life as well. It will be as it has always has been; for generations past and for all future generations.
Now imagine that you were taught a valuable and much needed skill, free of charge, and then provided the means to work that skill to immediately start earning an income. For the first time in your family's history there is hope of a future outside of the confines of extreme poverty. Your children can be the first children in your family to go to elementary or secondary education. They will be able to pursue a career that would allow their future children to grow up outside the boundaries of hunger, malnutrition and disease.
This is what we are doing in communities around the world through our MCM Community Outreach Welding Instruction Program. Men and women around the world are being taught the valuable skill of welding, and upon successful course completion and graduation are being given the means to work that skill to immediately start generating an income, sometimes for the first time in their lives.
Through this program, men and women, regardless of social, economical, personal belief, ethnicity or any other delineation, may know the joy of being financially independent and free of the generational chains of poverty for life.
Through the work of MCMCOP, over 25 new welding shops are in 5 different countries around the world with almost 150 men and women trained and most working in that skill, bringing financial benefits to over 1100 people so far!
If you choose to donate to the MCMCOP, please add 'MCMCOP' to your donation, as it is a separately funded program within MCM.
Our Executive Director is a EFCA Pastor who loves to share the gospel and educate others on the mission work of MCM. He would welcome the opportunity to speak with local, civic or faith-based organizations, churches and church groups, mission groups, educational venues, and community outreach programs. If you, or an organization or church you are familiar with, is looking for a transitional pastor or speaker, please contact MCM to discuss your needs.
