Dear Friends and Mission Partners,
As you may have heard, officials have stated that a magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit close to Port-au-Prince, Haiti has left more than 7,000 homes destroyed and nearly 5,000 damaged from the quake, leaving some 30,000 families homeless. Hospitals, schools, offices, and churches also were destroyed or badly damaged. It is estimated that over 1300 have died.
The report I received today for the area where MCM is active in ministries and outreaches, Cavaillon, is about 90% destroyed. The Skills Training Center we have been working on with our ministry partners survived the massive earthquake with very little damage in this devastated area, praise be to God!
As of today, there are over 350 people living in this building now with more on the surrounding property. The building was built with several bathrooms and running water (gravity-fed) so there is space, safe sanitation, and safety, for now.
At MCM, we take our ministry partnerships to heart as these are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and they are in desperate need. We who are able to are called to provide for those that are in need.
Galatians 6:2 "Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ."
Hebrews 13:16 "And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
If you wish to help with the relief efforts that will be undertaken, you can donate HERE or send your donations to MCM marked as ' HAITI RELIEF' to:

It is bad to say the least, but we are confident that God will use this for his glory and we pray that this will awaken people from out of the darkness and into a personal relationship with God.
Prayerfully,
