Giving God glory, we have established 13 stand-alone welding shops through MCM. 

The picture above shows our Metal Fabrication Shop and Welding School, which is the largest fabrication shop in western Nepal. This is a Business as Missions (BaM) project that we anticipate replicating in some of our other ministry countries.

These are actual welding shops primarily used for teaching and as active shops to generate income for former students. 

Our ministry partners purchase all the equipment and welding machines for us, and then MCM presents them to the business, with a local, established Christian organization overseeing the business.

We have trained approximately 297 students over the past 8 years! Class sizes have ranged from 

4 to 16 students at one time. We prefer to have 

no more than 8-10 students/class, per instructor. 

Because of our teaching these men and women, over 850 people are now welding for a living and providing for their families. Some graduates have started their own welding shops and then hired and trained their employees. 

In Nepal alone, we have trained over 120 men, and as a result of that training, there are at least 61 active welding businesses, several of which employ more than 50 people!

Church & Community Shops. 

We have constructed many of these welding shops, co-located within a church or other community building, for the graduate students to use to generate personal income. A small fee is paid to the church, school, daycare, or community center for the use of the equipment or to a per-arranged purchase plan. This way, everyone receives income from the welding equipment 

provided by MCM at no cost.

It is our desire to ensure that as many people as possible benefit from this one resource, stretch monetary donations as far as possible, and help as many people as we can

 in the precious name of Jesus.
