...in one God (Deut. 6:4) who existed before time (Ps. 90:2; Is. 40:28), is Holy (Is. 5:16), Perfect (Matt. 5:48), Good (Ps. 25:8), and exists as one essence in three divinely equal persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).
...that the Bible is the written, inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16, 1 Thes. 2:13), given to us through human authors (1 Cor. 2:12-13; 2 Pet. 1:21), resulting in a canon of 66 books. It is through this scripture alone that we rest on for authoritative truth (Gal. 1:6-9).
...all mankind to be fallen and depraved (Rom. 3:12-16) as well as sinners (Rom. 3:23) destined for eternal damnation (Matt. 25:41, 46) due to the egregious sin of the first man, Adam (Rom. 5:12).
...that Jesus Christ, the son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to a virgin named Mary (Matt. 1:18, 25). Jesus Christ led a sinless life (2 Cor. 5:21) while on this Earth even though he was tempted to do otherwise (Matt. 4:1-10; Heb. 4:15). As predestined by God (Acts 4:27-28), Jesus suffered and died on the cross as a propitiation for our sins Rom. 5:8-9). Jesus rose from the dead (Acts 10:40; 1 Cor. 15:3-4) and is now seated at the right hand of the father (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:56; Eph. 1:20-23).
...that it is by God’s Grace alone (Eph. 2:4-10; 1 Cor. 15:10), that we are saved through Faith alone (Gal. 2:16; Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8-10) in Christ alone (Rom. 8:1-3; 2 Cor. 5:21), for the Glory of God alone (Eph. 1:4-6, 11-12; Rom. 11:33-36). For if Christ did not rise from the dead, our faith is worthless (1 Cor. 15:14).
...that it is our duty/responsibility as Christians, who are made in and bear the image of God (Gen. 1:27), to know God (Phil. 3:10) and make him known (Matt. 28:19-20) as well as to present a defense for him (1 Pet. 3:15-16) against those would oppose him (2 Cor. 10:3-5).
...that God has instituted two ordinances for the church to observe: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Believer’s Baptism (credo-baptism) is done by immersion (Acts 8:36-39) and is the person’s testimony and commitment that he or she will follow Christ and his teachings (Rom. 6:1-11). The Lord’s Supper is a time when believer’s come together sharing a meal to commemorate and remember Christ’s death and resurrection (1 Cor. 11:23-33).
...in the premillennial return of Christ (John 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:51-53; 1 Thes. 4:13-18) who will return for his bride, the Church, and take them home to be rewarded according to their deeds (1 Cor. 3:11-15; 2 Cor. 5:10). After which, 7 years’ time (Dan. 9:24-27), Christ will return to judge the living and the dead (Matt. 25:31-46) and allow those worthy to live with him forever (Rev. 21).
